Entertainment Weekly shares 75th anniversary Superman video by Bruce Timm, Zack Snyder

Entertainment Weekly has shared a video celebrating the 75th anniversary of Superman.  The animated short will be on the “Man of Steel” Blu-ray.   Zack Snyder came up with the idea of a short video celebrating Superman’s history. Noted DC animation producer Bruce Timm came on board for the 2-minute short, produced by Warner Bros. Animation.

The short film uses John Williams’ classic score mixed with the Hans Zimmer “Man of Steel” music.   To keep the film to 2 minutes, not all of Superman’s comic and film alter egos made the cut.  Maybe Kirk Alyn, Dean Cain and Brandon Routh will get some love in a future extended cut.
