Oklahoma City-based Enviro Clean Products & Services has been bought by former Benham Group principals Herschel Roberts and Gregory Meacham, Texas Next Capital, and a group of Oklahoma investors.
The sale includes Enviro Clean Services, Enviro Clean Waste Services, Enviro Clean Transportation, and G-2 International. The purchase price was not disclosed.
Roberts will serve as the company's new CEO, with Meacham as president.
Roberts said Enviro Clean has over the last 10 years grown into the largest privately owned environmental services business in the region, with growth targeted in Oklahoma and Texas.
“Our desire will be to further expand Enviro Clean's existing remediation and hazardous waste business, while also enhancing the air, water, infrastructure, and waste consulting capabilities through acquisition and intrinsic growth,” he said. “With Texas Next Capital and our group of local Oklahoma investors, we are well capitalized for future growth.”
Enviro Clean Products & Services employs about 80 people and has offices in Oklahoma City, Woodward and Wappingers Falls, N.Y.
David Claytor will be director of operations, while Clint Lord and Jonathan Behymer will continue to serve as chief financial officer and chief marketing officer respectively. Enviro Clean founder Ken Murphy will maintain his affiliation with the company in an advisory capacity.
“Herschel Roberts and Greg Meacham have spent the last 20 years guiding The Benham Cos.,” Murphy said. “That experience combined with their prior business endeavors in the environmental and engineering market has uniquely qualified them to lead the Enviro Clean family of businesses into our next generation of growth, and into new areas of service for a broader market.”
