ESPN analyst Doug Gottlieb considers jumping to CBS Sports, according to report

Gottlieb, 36, a former Oklahoma State point guard and Sports Animal radio network host, has been at ESPN since 2003, and his contract expires in September. His radio show airs 3-6 p.m. weekdays on ESPN Radio, including ESPN 640 in Oklahoma City.

According to the website, Gottlieb's offer from CBS includes announcing college basketball games, including the NCAA Tournament, his own radio show and a TV show on CBS Sports Network. Gottlieb, who grew up in Orange County, Calif., would be based out of Southern California for the shows.

Gottlieb could not be reached for comment.

CBS Sports is launching a new sports radio network in January that it hopes eventually will rival ESPN Radio. Cumulus Media, which owns the Sports Animal, is a partner in the new radio network.
