ESPN 'Baseball Tonight' analysts: Cardinals-Rangers rematch in 2012 World Series unlikely

Analysts Curt Schilling, John Kruk and Karl Ravech discussed the 2012 season in a conference call. They don't expect to see the St. Louis Cardinals back in the World Series after losing Albert Pujols and Tony La Russa.

Host Karl Ravech: I would say that conservatively the Cardinals may be the fifth-best team in the National League, and the Rangers could be anywhere between the third- and sixth- best team in the American League. But I would doubt either of those teams get to the World Series this year based on this discussion.
