ESPN promo for Oklahoma State-Mississippi State opener in Houston

The ESPN promo for Oklahoma State’s opener against Mississippi State in Houston — complete with a Brent Musburger voiceover — has begun circling around the Internet.

The spot features a promise that the “college football season comes out blazing with a Texas-sized showdown for SEC-Big 12 bragging rights” and ESPN’s typical marching band soundtrack in the background.

One gripe: Joseph Randle is prominently shown scoring a touchdown when Musburger says “Oklahoma State Cowboys.” Did ESPN’s editors forget he’s now a member of the Dallas Cowboys?

Either way, it’s a solid promo, and a suitable video to play on repeat this weekend to hold everyone over until Big 12 Media Days begin Monday.
