ESPN's Fiesta Bowl ratings up 37 percent from last year
FIESTA BOWL — Oklahoma City the top-rated market for Fiesta Bowl viewing with 36.7 rating.
ESPN's 9.7 fast national ratings for the Fiesta Bowl, Oklahoma State's 41-38 overtime victory over Stanford, were up 37 percent from last year. Oklahoma City and Tulsa ranked No. 1 and 2 among metered markets with 36.7 and 29.2, respectively. In Oklahoma City, the rating was up slightly from a 35.1 for last year's game between OU and Connecticut. ESPN's fast national Rose Bowl ratings of 11.8 was down 10 percent from last year. Oklahoma City (16.5) and Tulsa (14.1) ranked sixth and ninth among metered markets.
