Ethnic American Advisory Council chairman unveils hopes for license bill’s end
The chairman of the governor’s Ethnic American Advisory Council said Friday she’s optimistic the Senate will kill a bill to ban head garments in driver’s license photos.
If lawmakers approve the bill, the council probably will ask Gov. Brad Henry to veto House Bill 1645, Marjan Seirafi-Pour said after the council’s quarterly meeting.
