About the honorees

At the event, Hamm will receive the Dean's Award for Distinguished Community Service.

“Harold Hamm is an extraordinary man whose tremendous success in the oil and gas business has been matched by his passion for helping us solve the riddles of diabetes and work towards a cure,” Andrews said. “His generosity and commitment to the College of Medicine and our work has earned him the respect and admiration of our entire faculty, staff and alumni.”

The McCaffrees will each receive a Dean's Award for Distinguished Medical Service.

“Drs. Bob and Mary Anne McCaffree are a remarkable physician team who have devoted so much of their time and energy to public health causes and continuing improvement of the medical profession,” Andrews said. “They have left their mark on many important programs to our state and the health of our citizens.”

The dinner event will be at the National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum. Tickets are $250 per person. For tickets or more information, call Carol Modisette at 271-2353.
