LIVERPOOL, England (AP) — Everton has signed Ireland winger Aiden McGeady from Spartak Moscow on a 4½-year deal for an undisclosed fee.

The Premier League paraded McGeady in front of supporters before Saturday's game against Norwich at Goodison Park.

McGeady spent six years with Celtic before moving to Russia for 9.5 million pounds (now $15.6 million) in 2010.

The signing strengthens Everton's attacking options for the second half of the season, with Roberto Martinez's team in with a chance of finishing the season in the Champions League positions.
