Kris Ledford pleaded guilty Wednesday in federal court in Muskogee to possessing stolen firearms and falsely claiming to have been awarded a Purple Heart.

Ledford faces an estimated three to five years in prison based on federal sentencing guidelines.

As part of the deal he must plead guilty to state charges related to the case and his prison sentence will run at the same time as his sentence on the state counts.

Ledford is charged in Muskogee County with embezzlement, grand larceny and false declaration of ownership. He's charged in Tulsa County with impersonating a Tulsa police officer.
