Caddo County sheriff's deputies were summoned Monday night to a domestic disturbance call. The former officer approached deputies with a gun and threatened suicide. Deputies then negotiated with the man and a deputy was able to knock the gun out of his hand.

A television station reports a scuffle ensued and officials say the former officer was wounded in the abdomen and a third person who jumped in was wounded in a leg.

Both are expected to live. Names weren't released.

The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation handling the case.
