Sharee Gann claimed in the suit that she was fired in April 2005 because she was not a political supporter of her new boss, Oklahoma County Commissioner Brent Rinehart.

Her lawsuit, which was filed in February 2006, was settled Friday, just days before it was set for trial in federal court in Oklahoma City.

Terms of the settlement were not available.

Attorneys on both sides of the case declined to discuss the case until settlement paperwork is completed and signed.

Gann had been seeking more than $20,000 in damages from the county.

Are you saying that we're all going to lose our civil rights? And that it's a good thing??

If there is actually anything good about the presidential election of 2008, it will be found here. "Sharee" (pronounced Share-EE) will not longer be allowed to persecute whomever she pleases because her lawyer will never be allowed to be make money from it.
