Mick my hero
"Mick was my hero from the time I knew what baseball was. I have all the books about him, and my own private shrine to him at home. I've seen him play. Been to Yankee Stadium and stood in center field where he played; sat on the dugout bench that he sat on; been to the Dallas area where he and family lived and been to the cemetery where he is laid to rest. Mick was, is and will always be my hero.”

Franklin, Bixby
