Mira Sorvino has played everything from scientist savior to flighty fashionista, but in her new movie, Union Square, Sorvino manages to unearth her most impressive performance since that Academy Award-winning turn in 1995's Mighty Aphrodite.
"It's perhaps the juiciest of all roles I've ever had because she can swing in both directions," Sorvino said of her bipolar character Lucy, who surprises her sister Jenny (played by Tammy Blanchard) at a most inopportune time.
