Regarding “OU scraps plans for smoking areas” (News, Feb. 9): It's ironic that a person we elected as one who would protect us from becoming a “nanny state” would invoke a currently favorite device — the executive order — for circumventing a legislative body to impose one's will on already persecuted smokers. Those who fail to contest this aberration of our God-given rights can expect similar dictatorial abus...
