Exhibits, music, carnival among events featured at Cleveland County Free Fair in Norman

The Cleveland County Free Fair in Norman, which opened Thursday, has a full slate of events Saturday, with a carnival and midway that will remain open until 11 p.m.

The Cleveland County Free Fair, which opened Thursday, will continue Saturday, with a noon tractor parade, tractor pulls, garden tours, agricultural displays, live entertainment and a carnival.

The fair at 615 E Robinson St. opens at 9 a.m., with events and entertainment scheduled through 10 p.m. The carnival and midway will remain open until 11 p.m.

The 105th annual fair includes poultry, sheep, cattle, swine and goat showings, dog obedience demonstrations and judging on entries that range from canning and baking to sewing and craft items.

A car show and antique tractor show also are on Saturday's agenda. Children can visit the Perry Farm petting zoo, get free pony rides and watch a magic show.
