Experienced lawmakers to face off in battle for Oklahoma House District 28 seat

SEMINOLE — A former Seminole state representative is trying to unseat a two-term incumbent in the battle for the House District 28 seat.

Republican Ronald G. Sheppard , 68, of Seminole held the seat for one term ending in 1980. He is challenging incumbent Ryan Kiesel, R-Seminole .

Both candidates were unopposed in the primaries.
