— NYU Langone Medical Center staff evacuated 322 patients over 13 hours on Oct. 29 and 30 after the hospital lost power and backup generators failed.

— The evacuation included 20 babies from the neonatal and pediatric intensive care units.

— Over 15 million gallons of water were pumped from the buildings on First Avenue between 30th and 34th streets.

— Total damage to the hospital's facilities and equipment topped $1 billion.

— Outpatient facilities reopened on Nov. 5. Many physicians' offices reopened Nov. 15.

— Inpatient services and surgical units reopened Thursday, bringing the campus up to about 75 percent in operation.

— The emergency room remains closed and will be temporarily replaced with an urgent care center.

— The maternity unit, pediatric unit and other specialty units are slated to reopen Jan. 14.
