FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. (AP) — Tight end Bear Pascoe, who made six starts for the New York Giants last season, has signed with the Atlanta Falcons.

The Falcons are looking to replace retired tight end Tony Gonzalez. Levine Toilolo, a fourth-round pick from Stanford in 2013, is expected to lead the competition at the position in training camp.

Pascoe (6-5, 256) was a sixth-round pick by the 49ers in 2009. He signed with the Giants in 2009 and had 38 receptions for 333 yards and one touchdown. He started in 32 of his 66 career games with New York and had 12 catches for 81 yards last season.
