Fall festival will replace trick or treat in Edmond

The Downtown Edmond Business Association will hold a fall festival Oct. 25. The event will replace the annual Trick or Treat on the Street.

There will be no Trick or Treat on the Street this year in downtown Edmond. Instead, the Downtown Edmond Business Association will host a fall festival Oct. 25.

The festival will be from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. at Festival Market Place, with games, entertainment, a vintage tractor exhibit and a quilting show.

The theme will be “The Old Fashioned Fall Festival,” and participants can play games such as ring toss, a potato sack race and an egg/spoon race. There also will be a duck pond and a cake walk.

There will be no rain date. No animals or skateboards will be allowed.

The discharge of fireworks or firearms is prohibited. Alcoholic beverages will not be allowed on or around the event area.
