Fallin names agriculture secretary

Former Republican state Rep. Jim Reese was named Monday to Gov.-elect Mary Fallin's cabinet.

Fallin cabinet

Gov.-elect Mary Fallin on Monday named former Republican state Rep. Jim Reese to her cabinet as agriculture secretary. Reese had been serving as an adviser to outgoing House Speaker Chris Benge, R-Tulsa. He was previously executive director for the Oklahoma Farm Service Agency, which is part of the federal Department of Agriculture. Campaign finance reports show Reese made five donations to Fallin's gubernatorial campaign totaling $950.
