Oklahoma politics: Fallin unsure about guns on campus

Oklahoma Gov. Mary Fallin says she also wants more information about a $10 million-a-year contract for a new juvenile detention center.

MIDWEST CITY — Gov. Mary Fallin said Friday safety concerns trouble her about proposed measures to allow guns on college campuses, and she wants more information on a $10 million-a-year contract for a new juvenile detention center.

Fallin said she supports the Second Amendment and the right to bear arms, but she also understands the viewpoints of the state’s university presidents and most law officers.
