Regarding the closure of the James C. Nance Memorial bridge between Lexington and Purcell: Comments seemed to be focused on what happened in the past and what should be done in the future. What’s important is what’s happening now to help remedy the situation. Gov. Mary Fallin is owed a debt of thanks for the immediate action to relieve what burden she could through her office. Her actions aren’t just words but doing what was possible in the present.
