Famed Ferris wheel set for city
Oklahoma City developer Grant Humphreys bought a piece of Americana on Ebay Friday — the Pacific Park Ferris wheel on the Santa Monica Pier — and intends to bring it back home and include it in a future project.
The nine-story-tall Ferris wheel has 20 gondolas, 5,400 light bulbs, and the California amusement park reports it has been featured in 28 movies and more than 130 television shows and commercials....
