Family of man burned in Caney saloon explosion files lawsuit

CANEY — The family of a man severely burned by an explosion in June at Bill Dog's Saloon is seeking damages from three companies that an attorney claims manufactured and supplied a leaky propane tank.

Daniel Carmen , 32, was inside the building when it exploded shortly before 7:30 a.m. June 5. Officials said Carmen lit a cigarette and was blown from the building.
