I'd like to join the Grandma's Thunder Fan Club proposed by Eunice Aldrich (Your Views, July 8). Aldrich is only 74 years old; can an 80-year-old woman join? I'm a great-grandmother who's loved the Thunder boys ever since they started in Oklahoma City. I never really cared for sports until they came. My children took me to two games and I was so elated — even if we had to sit on the nearly top row.
The Thunder players seem to represent something good in Oklahoma. I look forward to any news about them and will be watching those talented three who were selected to go the Olympics. Go, Kevin, Russell and James! Go, team!
