Fan poll: Vote for the city-area high school football Player of the Week

It was a strong opening week across high school football with a huge amount of strong performances, so many we extended the number of options to eight. Fans can vote for the one they feel was the best.
The weekly Oklahoma City-area Player of the Week fan poll is live online at NewsOK.com/Varsity.
Pick one of the eight selections from the poll below, or write in your own candidate in the comments section, where you can tell us why your choice deserves Player of the Week honors.
Voting ends at 4 p.m. Wednesday and the results of the poll will appear in Thursday’s Oklahoman.
Here are the candidates:

Kieron Hardrick, Westmoore: Scored three touchdowns and rushed for 77 yards on 11 carries in the Jaguars’ 37-6 win against Moore in the annual Moore War.
Dylan Hatchel, Hennessey: Scored three of Hennessey’s four touchdowns in the fourth quarter, sparking the Eagles’ comeback victory.
John Jacobs, Shawnee: Rushed for the Wolves’ only two touchdowns in 14-7 upset of No. 3 McGuinness, while rushing for 75 yards and passing for 134.
Domonique James, Heritage Hall: Caught five passes for 201 yards and three touchdowns, sparking the Chargers in a 30-22 victory against Casady in the Polo Bowl.
Cade Parker, Norman: Recorded five quarterback sacks in the Tigers’ 38-31 upset of Norman North.
Hayden Somerville, Yukon: Threw two touchdowns against rival Mustang, including the winning strike in overtime of the 19-16 victory.
Pierce Spead, Southmoore: Rushed for 131 yards on nine carries as the SaberCats knocked off Class 5A No. 1 Carl Albert
Will Trotter and Terry Wilson, Del City: Both of the Eagles’ quarterbacks dominated Class 5A runner-up Tulsa East Central 52-27, accounting for five touchdowns. Trotter also recovered a fumble in the end zone for a touchdown.
