Fans flock from all around to meet the Sooners

NORMAN — When the clock struck 10:30 a.m., John Ferrell was off and running to find Oklahoma quarterback Sam Bradford .

Ferrell, 10, was one of hundreds of kids running through the OU rugby fields Wednesday morning with items for various Sooners to sign at Meet the Sooners Day.

Not many had the same trek in reaching Norman.

The Ferrell family drove from Plano , Texas , at 2 a.m. and reached Norman...
