MIDWEST CITY — After having a cup of tea in her home with the stranger, Alma Block got up Feb. 9 to feed her cats.

The stranger, Kimberly Kay Hegwood, told police that was the moment she began her killing, first with an extension cord, then with a pillow and finally with a kitchen knife.
