FBI, Midwest City police investigate credit union robbery

The FBI and Midwest City police are searching for three people who robbed a bank at gunpoint Friday afternoon.

About 1:20 p.m. Friday two men and a woman with their faces covered entered Oklahoma Federal Credit Union, 3210 Bel Aire Drive, with handguns.

Both men jumped over the teller counter and emptied the teller drawers into a multicolored bag, the FBI reported. They left the bank with an undisclosed amount of money. No one was injured.

The three last seen leaving the bank in a 1980s model Chevrolet Impala or Oldsmobile Cutlass with faded black paint, the FBI reported.

The robbers are described as one black male, early 20s, about 6 feet tall with a skinny build; another black male, early 20s, 5 feet 10 inches tall, 240 pounds; and a black female, early 20s, 5 feet 3 inches tall and 110 pounds.

Anyone with information on the robbery is asked to call the FBI at 290-7770. Callers may remain anonymous.
