For Cat Taylor, Thanksgiving was only a precursor to the best feast she’ll enjoy this year. She recently entered an essay contest on momtourage.com, iVillage.com’s parenting Web site, to talk about the people who make it possible for her to raise five children and maintain a full-time job.

Taylor’s essay was selected as a winner by a panel of celebrity judges that included Tori Spelling, Hoda Kotb, Nancy O’Dell and Maria Celeste. Her prize includes a dinner prepared by "Top Chef” Season 3 contestant Tre Wilcox of Dallas. He will serve Taylor and seven people a dinner today with the help of Joshua Richardson, chef de cuisine at Deep Fork Grill.

Wilcox, formerly of Kent Rathbun’s Abacus in Dallas, is a private chef.
