Free museum admission
Bank of America and Merrill Lynch credit card holders will receive free admission Sunday to the Oklahoma City Museum of Art, 415 Couch Drive, and the National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum, 1700 NE 63. As part of the “Museums On Us” project, visitors can explore the exhibits at the two museums the first Saturday and Sunday of every month during 2013. OCU to host Wilde comedy
The Oklahoma City Repertory Theatre, in collaboration with TheatreOCU and Oklahoma Shakespeare in the Park, is presenting “The Importance of Being Earnest” at 2 p.m. Sunday, 8 p.m. Friday, 2 and 8 p.m. Saturday, and 2 p.m. April 14 in Oklahoma City University's Burg Theatre, 2501 N Blackwelder. Oscar Wilde's comedy, which stars Michael Jones as Lady Bracknell, focuses on a group of people who disguise themselves to escape burdensome social obligations. OU series continues
NORMAN — The University of Oklahoma School of Music's Beethoven String Quartet series continues this week with a performance by the Avalon String Quartet. The Illinois-based ensemble will perform the “Quartet in A Major, Op. 18 No. 5” and the “Quartet in B-flat Major, Op. 18 No. 6.” The concert will begin at 8 p.m. Monday in Catlett Music Center's Sharp Concert Hall, 500 W Boyd.
