Federal government too big, Newt Gingrich tells Oklahoma House members
Republican presidential candidate Newt Gingrich urged Oklahoma House members Tuesday to support his efforts “to get the federal government out of your hair.”
Gingrich, a former U.S. House speaker, spoke on the floor of state House of Representatives and asked members to support his effort to develop ideas for enforcing the 10th Amendment and returning some power back to state and local government.
