Body found in Oklahoma River

Police say they think the victim is a male.

A body believed to be that of a male was found in the Oklahoma River on Monday, police said.

A passer-by spotted the body floating in the river about 11 a.m. near the 1300 block of Exchange Avenue, Oklahoma City police Capt. Dexter Nelson said Monday.

The race of the victim and the cause of death were not immediately available, Nelson said.
