Dancer sues after losing thumb dancing at strip club

A Philadelphia woman has filed a lawsuit, saying her thumb was cut off while participating in the Delilah’s Diamond G-string Competition in 2011.


Sarah Berry, 35, claims that the competition’s host and creator failed to ensure that the apparatus she was using was properly designed, built, inspected and tested, according to Philly.com.

Berry said the incident occurred on July 18, 2011 when a sharp edge on the apparatus severed her thumb and she fell to the ground.
