Edmond church to hold Veterans Day observance

Music, flag presentations and a keynote speaker are on the program.

— Peace Lutheran Church will host a Veterans Day observance at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at 2600 E Danforth Road.

On the program are bagpipers, Boy Scout Troop 386, the Choctaw High School Air Force JROTC, keynote speaker Maj. Ed Pulido, the National Guard color guard and the Patriot Riders.

This event is sponsored by the Blue Star Mothers of America, the Edmond Exchange Club and Peace Lutheran Church.

All veterans in attendance will draw numbers for giveaway items including gift cards, free oil changes, handmade quilts and more.
