Fire at Oklahoma City Fire Station No. 6 forces relocation

The crew members of Oklahoma City Fire Station No. 6 were having a busy afternoon Thursday, responding to an accident and a medical call. When they returned about 3:45 p.m., they saw smoke coming from their station at 620 NE 8.

"It’s a situation you don’t expect, but unfortunately it happened to us today,” Battalion Chief Brian Stanaland said.

Fire crews immediately called for assistance ...
