Fire burns Edmond apartment
Firefighters are able to limit a fire at an Edmond apartment complex to one unit.

EDMOND — One apartment burned in Edmond Thursday night, but no one was hurt.
About 8 p.m., the fire was reported at the Sunset Ridge apartments, 930 S Boulevard. Firefighters were able to contain the flames to one apartment and extinguish it within minutes, Fire Chief Mike Barnes said.

Eight other apartments sustained smoke and water damage, he said.
A cause has not been determined.
