Residents of the Seminole County city of 1,300 are advised to boil water for drinking, food preparation, making ice, brushing teeth and washing dishes until further notice, according to a news release from the city.
The pressure drop may have allowed bacteria, viruses and parasites into the water supply.
City crews are determining the cause of the problem, and the boil order will be lifted if no microorganisms are found in water samples, the news release states.
