Man dies, grandson critically injured in Comanche County crash

A wreck Tuesday afternoon left a Sterling man dead and his 3-year-old grandson critically injured, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.

— A wreck Tuesday afternoon in Comanche County left a Sterling man dead and his 3-year-old grandson critically injured, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported.

About 4:25 p.m., Kenneth R. Snider, 62, was driving a pickup north on a county road about six miles south of Sterling, when the vehicle left the road and struck a tree, troopers said.

Snider died at the scene. His grandson, Tucker Snider-Moore, of Sterling, was taken to OU Medical Center in critical condition.

Neither was wearing a seat belt, troopers said.
