TULSA — Authorities say a Tulsa teenager was found dead after apparently drowning in fast-moving waters from the weekend storms.

Authorities say 14-year-old Dario Hogan was last seen Saturday playing in Coal Creek in north Tulsa with friends. Authorities say the teen's two friends escaped without injury.

Authorities say a news crew with Tulsa television station KOTV discovered the teen's body Sunday morning.

The TV station says a photojournalist was shooting footage of Coal Creek when he saw Hogan's body caught up in debris about a mile and a half from where the teen fell into the water.

Firefighters say the current was very strong Saturday night after severe storms moved through the area.
