Oklahoma law officers plan traffic enforcement night Saturday

Officers from multiple agencies will target drivers who are under the influence or committing other offenses.

Law officers from multiple agencies will conduct a traffic enforcement night Saturday to target drivers who are under the influence or committing other offenses.

Oklahoma County sheriff's deputies, Oklahoma Highway Patrol troopers and other law officers will operate a checkpoint at an undisclosed location. Extra deputies will be on patrol looking for traffic violators, according to a news release from the sheriff's office.

The efforts will begin at 8 p.m. Saturday and run until 4 a.m. Sunday, the release states.
