Oklahoma man dies in crash in Caddo County

Hicks Boyiddle, 66, of Anadarko, was driving north on U.S. Highway 62 about 3:30 p.m. Friday. The car went off the road and crashed a mile north of Caddo County Road 1400.

An Anadarko man was found dead after his sport utility vehicle left the road, hit a ditch and then a fence before stopping in a field, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported.

Hicks Boyiddle, 66, was driving north on U.S. Highway 62 about 3:30 p.m. on Friday when the car left the road and crashed a mile north of County Road 1400 in Caddo County.

Boyiddle, who was not wearing a seat belt, suffered from an unknown medical condition that was a factor in the crash. He died at the scene, according to the trooper's report.
