OKLAHOMA CITY

Two sought in shooting

Police identified two suspects in a deadly shooting that occurred about 3:30 a.m. Sunday at Murphy's Gas Station at Interstate 240 and Santa Fe Avenue. Police found Aaron Lawayne Hishaw, 29, of Oklahoma City, dead at the scene. Bobby Horne, 22, of Oklahoma City, was wounded and taken to OU Medical Center, police said. A hospital spokesman said information about Horne's condition won't be released. Investigators identified two people who fought with the victims before the shooting, but have not released their names. Anyone with information should call 297-1200.

NEWALLA

Two robbers sentenced

A Newalla couple were sentenced to serve time in federal prison for the June 20 robbery of a Choctaw bank, according to a news release from the U.S. attorney for the Western District of Oklahoma. Angela Darlene Jones, also known as Angela Gomez, 25, was sentenced to 24 months for using funds obtained from the robbery of the Arvest Bank, at 14900 SE 29 in Choctaw. Jones' husband, William Shelby Gomez, 20, was sentenced to 50 months for committing the robbery and using a firearm. Both were ordered to pay $3,709.
