Jury deliberations have resumed in the trial of a Del City tow truck driver charged with child neglect in the deaths of his three young children in a recreational vehicle fire.
The 12-member jury in the case of 26-year-old Christopher Dunham began a second day of deliberations on Friday. Jurors deliberated for about five hours on Thursday without agreeing on a verdict for Dunham. Jurors told Oklahoma County District Judge Jerry Bass they were at an impasse and wanted to go home for the night.
Dunham is charged with three counts of child neglect, possession of drug paraphernalia and other drug-related charges in the Jan. 4, 2011, fire that killed 4-year-old Christopher Dunham Jr., 3-year-old Crystal Dunham and 22-month-old Kailey Dunham.
He has pleaded not guilty to the charges.
