A Texas schoolteacher accused of emptying pencil shavings into a student’s mouth has been suspended.
The 13-year-old student told officials that he was leaning back in his chair when the teacher approached him and poured the shavings into his mouth.
The boy was then taken to the nurse’s office, where he washed out his mouth, according to The Daily Mail.
The boy told a local TV station that the teacher later apologized for the incident.
