Testimony to begin in trial of Oklahoma City man accused of shooting, robbing sheriff's deputy
Prosecutors allege Christopher T. Baker shot John Waldenville in the head after he left Cattlemen's Steakhouse to make bank deposit
A jury was selected Monday in the trial of a man accused of shooting and robbing an off-duty sheriff's deputy working security for Cattlemen's Steakhouse.

Christopher Travis Baker, 30, of Oklahoma City, is charged with shooting with intent to kill and robbery with a firearm.
Prosecutors allege Baker ambushed and shot Oklahoma County sheriff's Maj. John Waldenville after he left the restaurant to make a bank deposit just after midnight on May 21, 2011.
Waldenville, 61, was shot in the head and lost his right eye.
He was robbed of two bank bags containing $6,000, police said.
A co-defendant in the case, Keonta Stephen Terrell Prince, 19, of Oklahoma City, previously testified that he and Baker intended to rob Waldenville, and that Baker surprised the deputy before the lawman could draw his gun.
Prince has an agreement with prosecutors and is expected to testify against Baker.
In June, prosecutors dismissed their case against a former Cattlemen's dishwasher accused of tipping off Baker and Prince as Waldenville exited the restaurant.
Charges against Diante Keon Douglas, 18, of Midwest City, were dropped after Prince said he lied when he implicated Douglas.
Opening statements are expected to begin in the trial Tuesday morning.
