About 7:05 p.m., a black man and two white men approached a home in the 9700 block of NE 26, struck the man who lived there with a pistol and then robbed his wife at gunpoint inside the house, Spencer Police Chief Virgil Green said.

The men then fled in the couple's car. It was recovered about an hour later in Midwest City, Green said.

The couple — both of whom are 65 years old — were treated for their injuries at the scene, he said.

All three men wore dark clothing, ski masks and gloves during the robbery, Green said.

Anyone with information about the men or the robbery is asked to call 911.
