Two men riding horses were hurt in a wreck that claimed one horse's life Wednesday evening, authorities said.
Their identities weren't released Wednesday.
About 7:15 p.m., the men were riding on horseback on NE 36 near Interstate 35 when one of the horses was struck by a car, which in turn struck the second horse and its rider, Oklahoma City fire Battalion Chief Felton Morgan said.
One man was treated for neck injuries, and the other suffered head abrasions, Morgan said.
One of the horses died as a result of the incident, but the other was not injured.
The car was damaged, but the driver was not hurt, Morgan said.
