One dead, one wounded in Oklahoma City shootings Monday

Oklahoma City police are investigating the early Monday shooting of two men near Wilshire and MacArthur boulevards. Police responded about 2:30 a.m. and found one man dead and another wounded.

One person is dead and another is hospitalized after shootings early Monday in northwest Oklahoma City.

Police responded about 2:30 a.m. to 6712 W Wilshire Blvd. and found one man dead at the scene. A second man was taken to OU Medical Center, where he was listed in fair condition with a gunshot wound, police Sgt. Jennifer Wardlow said.

Police have not released the victims' names.

No arrests had been made Monday evening. Anyone with information can call the homicide tip line at 297-1200. Callers can remain anonymous, and may be eligible for a cash reward.
